Vitrectomy with a subretinal TPA implant.

Abstracts

Female patient, 56 years old, with sudden low visual acuity in the left eye 4 days ago. Visual acuity of hand motion. Fundoscopy presented hemorrhage affecting macular region in the left eye. OCT was performed evidencing subretinal hemorrhage at macular region and presence of retinal pigment epithelial detachment suggesting a choroidal polypoidal vasculopathy. Vitrectomy with a subretinal TPA implant and C3F8 gas was performed. Fifth day postoperative the patient improved vision to count fingers
