Endophthalmitis is the most feared post-operative complication in ophthalmology. This educative video simplifies its diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, emphasizing collection through vitrectomy. Pediatric blood culture bottle allows easy inoculation, room ambient storage and presents low risk of contamination. Moreover, it improves positivity and reduces time in identifying causative agents. Regarding this, we expect more ophthalmologists can perform an initial proper approach in such cases.
