Viscodissection of closed-funnel retinal detachment
A 45 year old only eye patient with a history of congenital glaucoma had kissing choroidal after glaucoma surgery. After choroidal drainage, she presented with bare light perception and a closed-funnel retinal detachment. We opted for vitrectomy with keratoprosthesis. Viscoelastic was used to open the funnel, and retina was attached after 360 retinectomy and silicone oil tamponade. Final visual acuity was count fingers.
