Macular Proliferative Vitreoretinopathy: a distinct presentation of epiretinal membranes
Proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) is a pathological condition that develops as a complication of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD). The presence of the PVR is related to poor visual outcome, especially if it’s occurs on macular area. In this video we gonna briefly address a case series of macular PVR and to discuss some important conceptual and morphological aspects of this condition. Epimacular membrane occurring in association with RRD has a characteristic morphologic feature
