In-the-bag intraocular lens dislocation in to the vitreous cavity - A new approach

Abstracts

In this video, we described a case of 40 years-old male with visual loss due to blunt ocular trauma and in-the-bag intraocular lens dislocation to the vitreous cavity. We performed a posterior vitrectomy with intra scleral fixation of the same intraocular lens. This technique is interesting because, with a chandelier assistance, and two forceps, we can capture and expose the haptics through the same sclerotomy, with no need to externalize the haptics through the anterior segment.
