MEMBRANECTOMY FOR DIABETIC TRACTIONAL RETINAL DETACHMENT

Abstracts

This surgical video illustrates a tractional retinal detachment repair in a diabetic patient who presented an extensive fibrovascular membrane proliferation following the retinal vasculature of the right eye. The fibrovascular tissue was successfully removed by using both single‐handed and bimanual techniques. The retina was anatomically reattached, and the patients experienced positive functional outcomes, with no significant intraoperative complications or postoperative sequalae.
