Adherent epiretinal membrane in patient with history of uveitis

Abstracts

This video shows a difficult peeling of epiretinal membrane that is very adherent to the retina in a patient with history of uveitis.
Technically challenging even for experienced surgeons, this surgery was a duel between the adhesion of the membrane and the forceps of the surgeon.
Even with the difficulty, few bleeding spots was provoked and almost the entire membrane was removed. The final result was satisfactory for the patient.
