Pars Plana Vitrectomy (PPV) for IOL dislocated to vitreous cavity associated to rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RD) with proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR)

Abstracts

Surgery begins with scleral tunnel confection. Then, 23G PPV proceeded with extensive vitreous base treatment and posterior hyaloidectomy. Next, lens was conducted up to anterior chamber by the haptic using the vitreofagus tip aspiration. After lens extraction, peripheral 360 degree retinectomy was made under perfluorcarbon. Finally, endolaser was done on the edge of the retinectomy, perfluorcarbon removed, and fluidic change to silicon oil without complications. 3 pieces IOL implanted on sulcus
