Heads Up Tractional Retinal Detachment - the blunt dissection and back-cutting techniques.

Abstracts

This video shows a very challenging case of a tractional retinal detachment using the Ngenuity and performed live at a congress.
We present several different approaches to tackle these difficult cases:
1. bimanual outside-inside dissection
2. blunt dissection and back-cutting techniques
3. inside-outside dissection by lifting the membranes from the optic disc
4. vitreous probe as vertical scissor
And we also present the pre and post-op to demonstrate that the techniques are efficient and safe.
