Amniotic Membrane for Macular Hole

Abstracts

Patient underwent macula hole surgery with removal of internal limiting membrane and gas. The macula hole did not close after the first surgery. Further surgery was performed with the placement of an amniotic membrane over the hole. After the second surgery, the macula hole was closed and visual acuity improved.
